3-in-1 SteamPaw™ Grooming & Shedding Brush

It took a little while for the kiddos (pets) to be comfortable with this contraption. I started them off by just brushing, no mist. The kitten loves the brush, and it seems to pull up a lot of her hair, but the more wiry hair of my puppy is barely picked up by the brush. I feel that this would be more helpful for fluffier breeds. The mist does seem to help with loosening the hair on the kitty. Puppy also loves the brush, but is negatively affected by the sound of the mist-er. The push to clean function works well. Just don't leave water in there after you use it unless you're using it every day.

This dog brush is easy to use, you can push the hair out of the brush with a button push and it is much easier and faster than trying to clean out a regular dog brush. Even if you don’t use the button to empty the brush it isn’t hard to remove the hair from the brush. The brush is good for removing shedded hair from my dog with a shorter coat, the de-shed brush I have for my other dog didn’t work well for my second dog because it wasn’t right for coat type. This brush gets the short hair off pretty easily and the brush is white enough to pick up a good amount of hair with each brush. The spines are curved and they are not too pokey or too flimsy. The spines seem like a good size for cats or dogs. The brush mist feature seemed useful for dealing with static cling while brushing, but my brush started leaking from having water in it, I don’t know if mine is flawed or if it would be better to empty the water out of the brush each use to try to avoid it leaking. It still works fine without using mist on the hair.

I was skeptical of all the 5-star reviews that were published on the same date, but I have to admit this grooming brush is pretty good. I was afraid my hounds would run away from me when I used it (they are adverse to water & strange sounds), so I introduced it to them by using it "dry," without the mist function, so they would get used to it. The brush captures the hair nicely and the little button really does work to release all the hair. The dogs don't mind me brushing them with it provided I use it as a dry grooming brush, but, as I suspected, they do not like the "mist" function AT. ALL. I don't know if the mist is cold (I've been using room-temperature water), or if they just don't like the misty feeling. Overall the brush works just fine, but for me, the mist is a gimmick.

Dog brush worked well. The steam helped pull up the hair a little more than the usual brushes do. Super easy to use and my dogs looking that much younger. Lots of the grey went away since it was shedding. Great price too would get again.

I absolutely love this brush. One of my cats is long hair and it does an excellent job picking up her fur. She especially likes the spray mist! I like it too because it cleans the fur without getting them too wet. I highly recommend this brush.

I have three short haired cats and brushing is a regular part of the routine, so I'm always on the lookout for anything that makes the process easier or more effective. The idea of a light mist of steam while brushing caught my attention, partly for the cleaning aspect and partly because static electricity in the winter is a real thing with short haired cats.The brush itself is well made and works exactly as described. It's quiet enough that none of my cats reacted to the sound, which is a win. The self cleaning function works well too, one press and the hair releases cleanly.The steam is where things got interesting. My cats could absolutely feel the cool mist on contact. They didn't hate it exactly, but they knew something was different and most of them would tolerate a couple of brushes before wandering off. I think this might just be a short hair thing. There's less coat to absorb the moisture so they feel it pretty directly on their skin. I'd be curious whether cats with longer or thicker coats have a different reaction, and I genuinely can't knock the manufacturer for this because it's more of a my cats situation than a product flaw.The one minor inconvenience is filling the water chamber. They include a small dropper bottle to get water in there, which works but feels like more steps than necessary. A small funnel or a wider opening would make this a lot smoother.Neither of those things is enough to take off a star. Five stars.

This brush works great, however I would highly suggest introducing it to your pet slowly. Some animals that have a lot of experience with being groomed will like it, but others who aren't as brave are going to be a little hesitant by the steam. It's all about the way you introduce it though as the product itself is good and works.It helped with both short and long haired pets, getting the hair especially as we go from winter into spring, is usually a pain. This helped to get the hair away from their skin and onto the brush quickly and easily. It has a nice wide brush area and moved through the fur easily, not pulling the hair or scratching the skin. It has a nice professional look to it for those using it in that setting. The steam is easy to use and the instructions clear. For the amount of fur it kept from my floor I would highly recommend it for others and confirm that it is a good value for the money.

This is a must have for pet owners. I love love love this. My fur baby loves when i use this on him. I love that i can add oils or liquid meds to this when brushing. It is easy to use and gives my baby a deep and thorough brushing which he needs since he is a golden retriever. Highly recommend. Excellent quality product and excellent value for the money. Makes a great gift a pet parent.

I like this grooming brush. This is the best product I have ever bought to comb cat hair. When you use it, it emits a fine mist, and the smell of the mist is very fresh. I strongly recommend this product!
