Montessori LED Busy Board™ Little Hands. Big Discoveries.

Overall, this is a wonderful and engaging busy board for kids! The buttons, lights, and switches are well-made and keep my toddler entertained for a long time. However, I am giving it 4 stars because it is smaller in person than I expected from the pictures. Make sure to check the exact dimensions before buying. Other than the size, the quality is great!

Hands down this is the best toy purchase I have made! I love this, my granddaughter loves this, the kids at church love this, adults even love playing with this. Perfect size for a child's hands to carry along with them. No sounds so it is great to take somewhere you need a child quietly entertained. Each light has it's own switch. Great for small motor skill development. Great for teaching cause and effect. We love it at home, in the car, at the doctors office, at church.... Just love it! Cannot give this a higher recommendation. The price is great, the quality is great - loved by kids and adults alike!

We bought this busy board as a New Year gift for our 1-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. She’s very interested in things that look and feel “grown-up”, anything she can press, turn, or switch, so this board keeps her engaged for quite a while.I chose this model among several similar options because of the variety of interactive elements it offers. It includes rotating knobs, switches, a key, toggle buttons, and even a plug with a cord. All elements work properly, and the board is bright, lightweight, and easy for a toddler to handle. It’s also convenient to take along when traveling or visiting places. The size turned out to be slightly smaller than I expected, but it actually works very well for my daughter. It’s comfortable for her hands, easy to use independently, and light enough to carry around. Batteries are not included, which is worth keeping in mind. This is a well-made and engaging busy board that does a great job satisfying a toddler’s curiosity and interest in interactive play.

I got this for a toddler in my life and he LOVED it. It was great for car rides, plane trips and just general cause and effect play! We talked about what he thought would happen with different switches, the colors, the amount of choices and experimenting/manipulating different parts to see how he could alter the result of that particular switch! I loved seeing the gears in his head turn as he figured it all out!

if you want an Einstein baby, order this!

Mi hijo le encantó lo entretiene en los restaurante y lugares donde salimos. Es tan buen producto que hasta uno mismo lo usa para desestresarse!!

Great for kids and durable. Autistic children often enjoy using it to settle.

Great toy, smaller than I thought but is great for the car as well. Takes up like no room-you could throw it in your diaper bag!

My son loves it 👍🏽

My great-grandson loves the lights and switches

My grandson loves this fidget toy! It is perfect for the car and the diaper bag!

We sent this to our grandson for his 2nd birthday. It was taken on a trip and both the 2 year old and the 4 year old really enjoyed it while traveling and they continue to enjoy it since they returned home.

My grandson loves this! He goes right to it as soon as he visits me. It's fun for his 83 yr old Great Grandma too! Lol

I bought this as a gift from my daughter to her brother for Christmas. My son was about to turn 2. He has enjoyed it and I would recommend for any toddler! Great for travel and restaurants.

This is an excellent learning toy for my 1 year old granddaughter. She is very enthralled with all the colors, buttons and switches. Keeps her attention.

This keeps the grandson entertained. He loves manipulating all of the switches. As his little sister is getting older, it becoming a favorite of hers as well. It’s perfect for travel and easily fits in a backpack or diaper bag!

This was the perfect toy for my toddler for a road trip. The battery life lasts a long time and it is very durable and holds up to toddlers favorite games of throwing things to get it back. The size is perfect for their little hands. Fits perfect in a diaper bag. Very bright and entertaining colors.

It’s a bit small, but it absolutely did captivate my grandson (2 years old). The button to power the entire device is on the face of the unit, alongside all of the other switches and mechanics, so he did (often) accidentally turn off the whole unit and not understand why. Maybe future designs can set the primary power switch elsewhere. Despite those minor issues, I will still give it 5 stars. The unit is sturdy and well built, and the activities deliver as promised.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my grandson's first birthday. I wanted a mix of "Old School" with some modern bells and whistles and perhaps a little educational value as well. This seemed to be it. Upon receipt, I found the manufacturing quality to be quite good, the overall fit and finish is good as well. I am very happy with that part. What I am disappointed in is that it simply lacks the wow factor for the price point. Yes there are numerous momentary buttons to push, toggle switches and even a rotary switch, but with that being said there is very little variation as to the child's input requirement for each function and no intellectual challenge to each one, especially since the majority are redundant (with the exception of color of feature and/or result) and require the same input and give the same result (i.e. push a button a light lights up). Because of this I am apprehensive that the toy will be able to capture a child's attention for long, but I could be wrong. Perhaps I expected too much after all this is a toy for a young child. But after putting batteries in and playing with it personally I was left with a "ho-hum" impression. Now the real test will be a few days (or even weeks) after the birthday party how my grandson takes to the toy, if at all. Does he invest his attention in it or will it become another toy box filler with rotting batteries? If he really likes it I will update this review accordingly. The bottom line is that for quality of product it is very good, fit and finish is also good, operational concept (from a 50 year old engineer's perspective) is it lacks the "WOW" functionality factor, has very little (if any) intellectual challenges and I believe could be simply a "flash in the pan" at best and that is why I gave it a 4/5 rating.

This busy board is AWESOME. Bought it for our baby at 11 months, and she was immediately excited by it. Even though she could only work a few of the buttons, she loved to see the lights turn on and off. Even after months, she still has yet to figure out every button, but enjoys playing with it when we are out or driving in the car - she even appreciates the alphabet on the back! As others said, this is a great car-toy that's not a screen; The fact it lights up when it's dark outside make it so much better than her other toys for travelling at night. The toy seems very durable and the battery life is good as well - still on the original batteries after months of use. Last thing to note: this was smaller than I thought it would be but, after seeing it in my daughters hands, it's definitely the right size for her and it makes packing it away a lot easier. Very happy with this purchase.
